Service terms

Clear expectations for sweeter service.

Last updated: September 9, 2026

Early-stage notice: These terms are a working foundation for Asali's early-access and pilot services. Paid ordering, memberships, and provider operations should not open until location-specific legal, insurance, licensing, payment, privacy, and contractor requirements have been reviewed by qualified professionals in each service area.

1. About Asali services

Asali & Co. may coordinate food pickup, grocery shopping, errands, household support, and other approved services. Availability varies by service type, provider availability, distance, operating hours, and location. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance or completion.

2. Requests, quotes, and approval

Customers must provide accurate request details, location, timing, contact information, and budget. A quote may include estimated item costs, service or shopping fees, delivery or distance charges, taxes, third-party fees, and approved substitutions. A service begins only after Asali confirms availability and the customer approves the quote and payment instructions.

3. Payments and receipts

Customers are responsible for all approved charges. Asali will not require a provider to use personal funds for a customer's purchase. Estimated item prices may change at the merchant. When available, receipts or a purchase summary will be provided. Customers may be asked to approve a revised total before additional spending.

4. Cancellations, refunds, and credits

5. Merchants, products, and substitutions

Restaurants, stores, and other merchants are independent third parties responsible for their products, prices, preparation, labeling, and merchant policies. Availability is not guaranteed. Asali will follow the customer's substitution instructions when reasonably possible and may contact the customer for approval when an item is unavailable.

6. Delivery and customer responsibilities

Times are estimates, not guarantees. Customers must provide a safe and lawful delivery location, access instructions, and a reachable contact method. Perishable items should be collected promptly. A failed delivery caused by incorrect information, unsafe conditions, lack of access, or an unavailable recipient may result in additional charges or a return to the merchant.

7. Restricted requests

Asali may refuse unsafe, illegal, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory, or impractical requests. Alcohol, tobacco, controlled substances, weapons, prescription products, regulated financial transactions, and other age-restricted or licensed activities are not available unless Asali later establishes a lawful, location-specific program with required verification and safeguards.

8. Providers

Provider participation is subject to eligibility, identity and background screening where appropriate, right-to-work requirements, licenses, insurance, transportation requirements, training, conduct standards, and a separate written provider agreement. Expressing interest does not create employment, contractor status, or a promise of work.

9. Memberships

Displayed membership prices and benefits are introductory planning terms until paid enrollment opens. Labor-heavy services and purchased items are separate unless a final plan expressly includes them. Renewal, cancellation, credits, and benefit rules will be disclosed before a customer purchases a membership.

10. Safety and respectful conduct

Customers, providers, merchants, and Asali personnel must communicate respectfully and avoid harassment, threats, discrimination, fraud, and unsafe conduct. Asali may decline, pause, or end a request when safety, legality, payment, or trust is in question.

11. Privacy and communications

Asali may use information supplied by email, forms, telephone, or future messaging channels to respond to requests, coordinate services, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information. Customer information will be shared only as reasonably needed to coordinate the request or as required by law. Additional privacy disclosures will be published before accounts, online payments, or stored order histories are introduced.

12. Consumer rights and responsibility limits

Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Asali is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, merchant-controlled product issues, delays outside reasonable control, or losses caused by inaccurate customer information. Any final limitation of liability and dispute process must be reviewed for the customer's service location before paid operations begin.

13. Changes and contact

Asali may update these terms as services, service areas, and legal requirements develop. Material terms applicable to a confirmed request will be disclosed before approval. Questions, complaints, and refund requests may be sent to info@asaliandco.com.
